I've been looking at a beautiful oak finish rack that has a lot of nice reviews. It is made of a hardwood and has plated metal hooks in the upper part which have a chrome plating.
The bottom is not a hardwood but this is actually one of the reason it has a lot of positive reviews. It doesn't fall over which happens to the nicer wooden base ones because there's no support to hold it up when it has a pile of coats and hats.

Dimensions are 14" x 14" x 74"H with an oak finish. So basically what this means is it's some type of hardwood that has an oak finish that looks nice. Some customers state that the pictures in the ad does not do it service so it must be a nice finish.
You can pile on the heavy coats on this model and it still holds up well. I noticed in a lot of reviews the customers state they would buy again so this is usually what I go by.
